Military Tuition Rate for Active Service Members - $250 per credit hour
This discounted tuition rate is offered to Active Service Members in all branches of our Military.
*Approved General University Fees, Course Fees and Program Fees will be applicable by school.
** This specialized rate cannot be used in conjunction with any other institution scholarships, aide, or tuition assistance; VA Benefits (exception is Chapter 1606 students); or ANGEAP (Alabama National Guard Educational Assistance Program).

In order to qualify for the specialized tuition rate, the Service Member must:
- Apply for Federal Tuition Assistance (TA) benefits through their respective branch of service
- Submit the TA Authorization form to Military Student Services
- This should be done digitally on our site www.jsu.edu/post-trad.
- On our main page, scroll down to the Helpful Links section. You will upload the approved TA Authorization to our digital TA Authorization Form (with MyJSU login).

- You must have a completed FAFSA on file for the semester that you are applying to use ANGEAP.
- You must submit your ANGEAP application by the published payment due dates to ensure that your classes are not dropped.
