Faster Master's

The JSU Faster Master’s program allows exceptional undergraduate students to take up to 12 hours of graduate coursework during the junior and senior years, which double count towards both the bachelor’s and the master’s degrees.

  • Save up to $6,000 on your master’s degree
  • Save up to a year in time spent earning your master’s degree
  • Leave JSU with two degrees instead of one

Benefits of the JSU Faster Master’s Program

  • Students can graduate with a master’s degree up to a full year earlier than with a traditional master’s program.
  • Students only pay undergraduate tuition and fees on the double-counted hours, saving money on a graduate degree.
  • Students can use undergraduate scholarships and financial aid towards these double-counted hours.
  • Students in the program receive priority registration to ensure they are able to register early for the classes they need.
  • Students can leave college with a master’s degree, rather than just an undergraduate degree, making themselves more marketable and increasing their earning potential.
