Scholarships

Merit Scholarships: Due to COVID-19, returning students who receive merit scholarships will automatically have their merit scholarship renewed for the 2020-2021 year. Students will receive an email notification when the merit scholarship has been added to their account. Students can expect to see these on their accounts no later than July 1, 2020. This is a one-time exception to merit scholarship renewal requirements. GPA and credit hour completion requirements will apply for 2021-2022 renewals. Non-renewable scholarships will not be automatically renewed.

Jacksonville State University is committed to assisting students with financing their college education. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, athletic skills, special talents, and/or financial need. JSU offers several different types of scholarships to help defray the cost of attending school for new and continuing students. JSU-funded scholarships are non "refundable", and unused funds cannot be carried over to subsequent semesters. Each scholarship may be regulated by a different set of requirements. The institution has scholarships that are automatically offered and some that require an application. Don't miss out on scholarship opportunities!
